The Beast Master Ranger has come a long way since 2014. In the original 5e PHB, the Beast Master was difficult, frustrating, and weak. Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything did a lot to improve that, but the 2024 rules went a little further still. RPGBOT’s own Random Powell revisited the Beast Master to produce a new subclass guide for the updated version.
