My capacity to write supporting documents for Pathfinder’s rules supplements is limited. Paizo publishes new player options at a dizzying pace, and I maintain this site as a hobby. I simply don’t have the capacity to cover every option in the mountain of rules supplements Paizo produces.

In addition, the quality of Paizo’s rules supplements varies wildly. Character options included in adventure paths, player companions, and Golarion setting supplements often have numerous editing errors and balance issues, and they almost never see errata. Even content as symbolic of Paizo’s success as their Rise of the Runelords campaign are littered with obvious errors which have gone fully a decade without correction.

For this reason, I’ve elected to only support content which Paizo saw fit to publish on their official SRD. However, as of September 13th, 2018, Paizo decided to stop supporting their official SRD. While their official SRD is temporarily mirrored on the Archive of Nethys site, I can’t guarantee that it will remain a stable source for rules content in the future.

However, I plan to stick primarily to the rules content covered in the sourcebooks which were covered in the official SRD. These books received the most maintenance, and as such are among the most usable and balanced supplements in the game. They provide sufficient content that you can build effective and meaningfully unique characters in enough games to last a lifetime.

As of this writing on September 15th, 2018, I support content from the following sourcebooks:

  • Pathfinder Core Rulebook
  • Advanced Class Guide
  • Advanced Player’s Guide
  • Advanced Race Guide
  • Pathfinder Unchained
  • Occult Adventures
  • Ultimate Campaign
  • Ultimate Combat
  • Ultimate Magic

If you would like me to write handbooks for specific content not published on the official SRD, or if you would like help with character options that I have not covered, please email me and I will be happy to provide additional assistance.
