Introduced in the Tales of the Valiant Player’s Guide, the Mechanist is an equipment-focused martial character with the ability to augment their party’s gear. They’re Intelligence-based, but play similar to a fighter, which is a fun concept to explore.
This is the first of our Tales of the Valiant class handbooks, and includes an example build which expands upon the Valiax Six mechanist pregen character.
I’ve been building these handbooks based on the Black Flag Reference Document, which has a subset of the full options available in the Tales of the Valiant Player’s Guide. As such, not all of the Player’s Guide options are covered yet. I’m working to correct that, but it will take some time.
