I’ve been hearing you from the start
even before the podcast i was a follower of the webpage
so far i’ve liked all your content, but this episode
it just felt like whining and wizards OP jokes
I didn’t learn anything from it, no different ways of playing martial characters
no different kinds o magic weapons or armour
feats for combat and I’m only talking about of combat mechanics
exploration and social have their options too
what I’m talking about is giving the martial classes
the same dedication you give to spells
dividing by classes and sinergies you can do
I’m trying to give constructive criticism sorry if it doesn’t feel that way
love your work
I appreciate you sharing feedback. We do discuss more mechanical changes and awarding magic items on the follow-up episode which just released, and hopefully that’s more to your liking.
FWIW a samurai can dish out a LOT of damage, esp once they get 3 attacks. I have a Tabaxi w/ a flametongue broadsword and of course great weapon master feat and he often out-damages the rest of the party including a Sorcadin, Wizard, and Light Cleric who dishes fireballs and shapes spells via a feat I guess. The tabaxi samurai can get in fast, get advantage via samurai feature, action surge, and kill multiple foes in one round. The main thing he suffers from is getting targeted with all manner spells cast against him esp those that take him out for a bit, thus why he is now level 11 samurai and level 1 Divine Soul Sorcerer. I also agree somewhat w/ the above commenter, more meat would’ve been nice in this episode. That said I LOVE your RPGBot and use it a lot.
