DnD 5e Lunar Sorcery Sorcerer Handbook

DnD 5e – New Lunar Sorcery Sorcerer Handbook

Tied for the class I’ve played the most, I love talking about Sorcerers. This one comes to us courtesy of a campaign setting, and its power creep shows. At first glance it feels like it’s both very complicated and very powerful for a Sorcerer and… neither are really true. It’s definitely good, but, mostly all it’s generated is a way for Sorcerers to be more flexible on a given adventuring day, bringing them closer to prepared casters while still having metamagic. That may sound stronger than many other options, and, I won’t lie, it is. But it’s also not nearly as strong as you might think. It gets fewer good new options than either Clockwork Soul or Aberrant Mind.

It is, however, still very fun to optimize and the resulting build ends up being a very fun version of a Sorcerer that we’ve never done before: one focused heavily on illusions. Enjoy!
