My first character in Baldur’s gate 3 was a gnome wizard, and despite still getting a grasp on the adapted mechanics, that little guy tore through the game like an absolute monster. Gnome Cunning is no joke, especially in a game where there are a lot of enemies forcing Intelligence and Wisdom saves.
