Monsterizer 1.0.14 – Import Your Monsters

I haven’t posted a major update to The Monsterizer in a while, and I’ve been craving some new monsters, so I found some time to work on it a bit, and I’m happy to announce version 1.0.14, which adds the ability to import Monsterizer data.

This means that if you, your friend, someone you know, or some enterprising person on the internet were to share the export data for their monster, you can import it into The Monsterizer and play with it yourself.

Remember: If you’re using someone else’s monster, make sure that they’re okay with you reproducing it. Anything published under the Open Gaming License (OGL) is fair game, but otherwise it’s best to ask the creator for permission.

How to Do It

It’s easy!

  1. Open up The Monsterizer
  2. Skip to the last tab (currently titled “Export”, which I might change)
  3. Paste your import data into the big text field under “Import Monster”
  4. Click the “Import” button below the field
