Grab a pile of weapons and get really comfortable with dropping them on the floor, because the 2024 Fighter is going to have more fun with Weapon Mastery than anyone else in the game. The 2024 rules let you draw or stow a weapon each time you make an attack, allowing you to rapidly cycle through weapons in order to benefit from multiple Weapon Mastery options in quick succession, and no one can do that as well as the Fighter.
But don’t think that the improvements stop there. Tactical Mind lets you spend Second Wind for a boost to skill checks, making the Fighter surprisingly useful outside of combat (albeit only a few times per rest).
