No Rest?
Yes. The rest mechanics are a huge part of Baldur’s Gate 3. And, like DnD 5e, pacing encounters between rests is a huge part of how the game is balanced. Players are expected to rest to recharge and recover.
We’re not doing that.
We’re planning to play straight through for the full 24 hours. We’ll only take long rests when the game forces us to do so. We fully intend to complete the game in those 24 hours. No, it will not be Honor Mode, if only because this is Randall’s first time playing.
Okay, but why?
Specifically because it’s hard.
