The folks at 1985 Games were kind enough to send me copies of their upcoming Milk Carton Dice sets. I’ve previously reviewed their Dungeon Craft terrain tiles and their Flat-Pack Miniatures, so I’ve been excited to see these in person.
What’s in the Box?
Each box contains a two-toned set of 7 dice, one metal pin, and a vinyl sticker. The dice are your standard plastic dice, and the pin and sticker both look great.
Thoughts and Feelings
I got an early peak at the marketing materials a few months ago, and my kids and their friends have been asking about these almost non-stop since seeing them over my shoulder. They might be getting some dice as a late Christmas present this year.
The Kickstarter doesn’t list a timeline, unfortunately, but I’m told that they’re aiming for January. 1985 Games has successfully crowdfunded several projects, and I’m staring at the physical product right now, so it seems that they have this one sorted.
Where to Get The Goods
You can find many of 1985 Games’ products on Amazon, but their full product lineup is only available from 1985Games.com. Milk Carton Dice are on Kickstarter now.
